Pixel Product Insights Manager, Platforms and Devices
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 4 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company. + Experience working with and analyzing data. Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines. Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands. In this role, you will be part of the Strategy and Operations team within Platforms and Devices. You will run qualitative and quantitative research, working with the broader Insights and Analytics team, as well as Platforms and Devices Product, Marketing and Sales teams. You will understand the customers, and audiences of our product portfolio, with a focus on Pixel mobility products. By working with product managers and product strategy, you will inform decisions with consumer insights, run research on our own target audience to build optimal product/market fit and be an expert on the user and their needs to communicate that narrative to Pixel stakeholders. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (https://careers.google.com/benefits/) . + Act as the product insights partner in support of Pixel Phones and Pixel Buds. + Build an insights roadmap, working with Marketing and Product stakeholders to understand needs, prioritize asks, and scope quant and qual research. + Utilize resourceful techniques for budget efficiency. + Leverage syndicated and custom research to understand our audience needs, evaluate product/market fit and positioning for each product. + Collaborate with Product Manager, Strategy Lead, and Product Planning partner to ensure insights help define the product strategy and are incorporated into decision milestones.
