Colonial transports approximately 45 percent of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, providing refined products to more than 50 million Americans. **About the** **Pipeline Integrity** **Analyst** **Position** As a Pipeline Integrity Analyst, you are the subject matter expert of technical analysis and interpretation of In-Line Inspection (ILI) signal data from multiple ILI technologies, including magnetic flux leakage, caliper, ultrasonic wall measurement, and ultrasonic crack. This position serves as a program manager responsible for the planning, and execution of ILI inspections and the analysis of the data to maintain the integrity of Colonial’s pipeline system. The Pipeline Integrity Analyst works with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure ILI inspections are completed safely and successfully. The Pipeline Integrity Analyst is an intricate part of Colonials Asset Integrity team. This role mostly will work independently to complete assigned tasks but will interface with others to influence decisions regarding Colonial’s asset integrity inspection intervals, technical standards, and operational procedures. **What You Get to Do:** + Initiates the annual bidding process for Colonial’s pipeline inspection program. Coordinates closely with procurement to ensure all ILI vendors chosen for the bid process are evaluated thoroughly and given a fair opportunity to work with Colonial Pipeline. + Manages all in-line inspection vendor accounts and ensures each vendor maintains compliance with Colonial’s standards. + Coordinates all Colonial pipeline inspections and determines the appropriate scientific technology based off the threat associated with the pipeline segment. + Lead pre-inspection stakeholder’s meetings and ensure all stakeholders are knowledgeable of the technology being used for the inspection, the threat associated with the pipeline system and the inspection timelines. + Provide 24/7 technical support to Project Managers, Project Inspectors, and ILI Vendors regarding pipeline maintenance procedures and In-Line Inspection procedures. + Orchestrates in-line inspection through coordination’s with operational scheduling and the control center to ensure product batch availability and flow rates are in line with the technical specification of the In-Line inspection technology. + Organize and leads technical audit of ILI vendor to ensure their compliance with API 1163 and ANST-ILI-PQ-2010. + Correlate in-line inspection data with field data to evaluate in-line inspection technology accuracy and identify trends across multiple inspections. + Receive, integrate, and analyze in-line inspection vendor provided final inspection reports. + Perform quality control review, identify, and communicate immediate, 60 days, 180- and 365-day response conditions based upon federal regulation requirement to relevant stakeholders. + Review in-line inspection post inspection data quality assessment (DQA) provided by the in-line inspection tool vendor and make determination of Colonial’s acceptance of the in-line inspection survey. + Update and maintain Colonial Pipelines in-line inspection related procedures and technical stands to ensure full compliance with PHMSA 49 C4R 195 and associated processes. + Develop and maintain technical specifications and system requirements for integration of Colonials historical data to support the Integrity Management Program, Asset Integrity Team, and Operations. **What You Bring to the Table:** + Associate’s Degree in a technical related field from an accredited college or university; will consider a combination of experience and/or education. + Must have advanced technical knowledge of all In-Line Inspection technologies and advanced working knowledge of all third party In-Line Inspection data software provided by ILI vendors for the interpretation of Magnetic Flux Leakage and Ultrasonic inspection data. + Ideally, 5+ years of experience in the natural gas and/or liquid pipeline industry in regards with pipeline design, regulatory compliance, and pipeline asset integrity. + Former ASNT-ILI-Personnel Qualification and Certification – Level II or Level III Analyst. + Understanding of engineering data management systems and relational databases, and general knowledge of data analysis methodologies and processes. + Ideally, 5+ years of progressive work experience in analyzing and interpreting In-Line Inspection data. + Commitment to consistently adhere to policies and procedures and be a positive example for others by demonstrating the Company’s core values of Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Safety, and Excellence in completing work assignments. + Self-motivated, have a phenomenal work ethic and looking for the right company to support your growth. **Got Extras** **to Bring** **?** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or other technical field of study from an accredited college or university. + Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or ASNT-ILI-PQ Level III Analyst. + Knowledge of Oracle and other database systems and applications + SQL for Oracle database knowledge. **Advantages of** **Working at Colonial Pipeline Company:** Getting to work for a company that helps to meet our county’s energy needs and keeps us moving!
