Job Title: Pipe Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG/Sanitary Pipe/Tube Welder for our custom fabrication shop. The welder will perform TIG welding for sanitary pipe and tubing, working with stainless steel on projects such as tanks, frames for robots, tubing, handrails, and platforms. The role involves fabrication, assembling, and welding on stainless steel primarily for clients in the Food & Beverage Industry.

ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG welding on sanitary pipe and tubing, primarily with stainless steel.Fabricate, assemble, and weld on various stainless steel projects such as tanks, frames for robots, tubing, handrails, and platforms.Utilize welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools as necessary.Operate a forklift to transport materials.Operate a few manual machines as required.Essential Skills5+ years of experience with TIG welding on stainless steel.Experience with sanitary process piping and tubing.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Forklift operation experience.Proficiency in using welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with rigging and machine operation.Background in construction and/or fabrication shops.Manual machining experience.Current valid driver's license.Ability to provide own hand tools and hood/shield for the weld test.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a standard weld shop that is very clean and well-organized. Employees will be on their feet all day, moving between different jobs. There is no overhead crane.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Highspire, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
