GSC PiNTs Scholar:

The duties will include continuing to write, and conducting research related to your writing, serving as a cultural ambassador in our community by giving a small number of readings and attending COA events, and instructional and educational responsibilities in support of Global Studies programs for Pitt Students, K-12 educators, and members of the Pittsburgh community, to be determined in consultation with the Director of GSC. We also encourage you to be involved in Pitt’s community programming throughout the year.

Academic Qualifications Research Alignment
• Educational Background: Ph.D. or equivalent professional experience in their field.
• Research Experience: An established record of publications, research contributions, or academic projects.
• Book Writing Requirement: The scholar must have a clear book project that aligns with their academic expertise and must present a research plan.
• Reputation Impact: Recognition within their academic community, including prior collaborations, citations, and institutional affiliations.
