Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._ **Responsibilities:** GENERAL PURPOSE: Physician Support Representative IV acts as a subject matter expert related to PSR job duties, scheduling guidelines, and clinic management processes. Physician Support Representative IV is responsible for consistently and regularly identifying areas of improvement and demonstrate and model ICARE Values. Physician Support Representative IV will assist the Division Manager with administrative duties while successfully managing their duties as Physician Support Representative IV. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** + Provides training on all aspects of PSR roles. Works with Division Manager and Division Administrator to develop and revise division specific documents and materials such as training material, standard work documents, policies and procedures. Attends educational programs for department at direction of supervisor and teaches other staff. + Serves as back-up with input of call schedule and/or templates. + Performs duties of PSR as required particularly for more complex requests. Achieves and maintains proficiency in provision of excellent customer service, accuracy and efficiency of work. Coordinates urgent and emergent clinic tasks (i.e. scheduling urgent surgeries, paperwork, cancellations, etc.) Schedules appointments, tests, and surgeries, coordinates appointments and consults in preparation for surgery or further clinical work-up. + Serves as office’s main point of contact when Division Manager is out of office **QUALIFICATIONS** + High School Diploma required. + 2 year’s experience required. + 1 Year of Leadership preferred. + or equivalent combination of education and experience required. + Demonstrate Customer Service Skills required. + Medical Terminology, experience with surgical/appointment scheduling software and electronic medical records, preferred. **EOE Minorities / Females / Protected Veterans / Disabled:** The University of Rochester is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion to advance the University’s mission to Learn, Discover, Heal, Create – and Make the World Ever Better.
