Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._ **Responsibilities:** GENERAL PURPOSE: Work under the general supervision of the Clinical Administrator of the Cath/EP Lab in the care of established and / or new patients. This includes but is not limited to communicating with internal and external customers (primary care, referring physicians), obtaining referral information, insurance pre-authorizations, scheduling consults, tests, procedures as well as coordinating support staff and resources. Provide information and make arrangements for transportation, lodging and other needs customized to the individual patient. Triages phone calls, determines urgency and documents in appropriate database. Lab and data entry as indicated for patient care. Perform cross coverage, miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** **Scheduling Management:** Independently identifies & adheres to appropriate scheduling protocol for cath/EP, vascular, heart failure and structural heart. Coordinate overnight accommodation and transportation arrangements as needed. Confirm case date with patients as needed. Facilitates hospital admissions as necessary. Arrange transfers to and from certain facilities. Intake patients and family in Cath/EP Waiting Room. Chart and file for cases and manager front desk waiting room. Triage questions from patients and families. **Communications:** Triage incoming calls, determining the appropriate resource for clinical responses and completing follow-up communication with caller. Communicate scheduling sequence to patients, providers, vendors and referring physicians. Provide patients with limited test explanations and instructions for upcoming procedure. Obtain clinical information and documents from care providers.
