Through this community of healers, scientists, and scholars, Rutgers is equipped as never before to transform lives. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Physician Specialist for the department of Emergency Medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
A board eligible or board certified physician to provide and oversee direct patient care in the Department of Emergency Medicine at our New Brunswick Campus. Responsibilities will include delivery of clinical services in the ED, teaching of medical students and residents rotating through the ED, supervision of advanced practice providers, and working with the Chair and Vice-Chair in the development of a residency training program. 

Among the key duties of this position are the following:  Delivery of direct clinical care to work in the Department of Emergency Medicine.   Work collaboratively with Departments and Divisions within the Medical School/University on collaborative research projects.   Work on quality assurance programs involving emergency medicine services.   Teaching/mentoring residents and medical students assigned to the Emergency Department.   Work with clinic staff to improve patient services, charting, and clinic policies.  Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Rotating Work Arrangement This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.  FLSA Exempt Grade 01S Position Salary Annual Minimum Salary 32111.00 Annual Mid Range Salary 219644.00 Annual Maximum Salary 407177.00 Standard Hours 37.50 Union Description Health Care Professionals Payroll Designation PeopleSoft Benefits Rutgers offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees.
