Physician/Medical Director Description The medical director provides medical leadership, supervision and direction for all primary care, specialty, and diagnostic services offered. The Medical Director is responsible for all quality assurance activities, including documentation, standards development, process improvement, peer review and professional orientation/education. Primarily working with and over seeing a team of Nurse Practitioners and other advanced care providers. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited medical school of with a MD or equivalent degree. • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Wisconsin, free of restrictions and maintain licensure. • Board certified in a primary care specialty preferred or eligible for board certification within one year of hire. • Maintain BLS certification. • Experience with and commitment to working with Nurse Practitioners (NPs). • Experience in Quality Assurance, Utilization Review, Continuous Quality Improvement, Electronic Health Records and Information Management. Schedule This role is extremely flexible, open to considering part time or full time candidates. Part time candidates have the option of working 1-2 days per week in office, then being available for any clinical consultation needed with the advanced practice providers. If an individual is looking for fulltime work there work would be a miz of Medical Director role as well as start primary care Physician role, taking on their own patient load. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $240000.00 - $325000.00/yr. PCH Benefits. They provide internal benefits for all members on the team.
