Summary Physician - Non-Invasive/General Cardiologist - Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants – St. Louis Metro Area Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality cardiovascular care to our community. Position overview We are seeking a BC/BE General Cardiologist in O'Fallon, IL to join our team of 6 other non-invasive cardiologists, 4 interventional, 2 EP, 2 CT surgeons, 1 vascular surgeon and 10 NP/PAs. Performing the full range of interventional, structural and EP procedures. 25 min outside of downtown St. Louis, MO. Position Details Monday - Friday weekly schedule Rotating call 1:8 EPIC EMR High Volume coronary intervention procedures Cardiac imaging preferred All cardiac imaging modalities available on site position open due to retiring physician Prairie Cardiovascular of O'Fallon is on location with HSHS St. Elizabeth Hospital-O'Fallon, IL Compensation & Benefits Package Competitive salary commensurate with experience. About the Physicians of Prairie Cardiovascular: Based out of Springfield with five additional permanent locations in O'Fallon, Carbondale, Decatur, Effingham and Mattoon and committed to quality outcomes, cutting edge research and providing state-of-the-art heart and vascular care. Over 70 cardiologists and surgeons serve the comprehensive regional network of 53+ communities and rural clinics in central and southern Illinois and actively expanding our services throughout our large network. Also relationship with the University of Chicago. Very active research arm through Prairie Education and Research Cooperative. Specialties in General and Preventative Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Echocardiography, Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Structural Heart, Nuclear/CT Cardiology, and Vascular Medicine. Position Requirements Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start Board Certified or Board Eligibility New fellow graduates are welcome to apply Position does not support J1 visa Qualifications Education Clinical doctorate is required. Experience Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Licensed physician in the state of practice is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty. Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program. Must be board certified or board eligible.
