ResponsibilitiesA 100% cardiothoracic practice in the MidWest! Ascension St Vincent/ Heart Center of Indiana is actively recruiting a BC/BE adult cardiac anesthesiologist for a practice in Carmel / Indianapolis, Indiana. Carmel, IN has consistently
ranked as one of the top 10 most livable places in the USA – #2 rated by Money Magazine 2023!
Practice growth is due to service line expansion, and the opening of new OR’s.
We provide a broad range of anesthetic care to the cardiac, thoracic and EP services at two
suburban hospitals. Our clinical case variety is wide: a broad range of valve cases, major aortic
cases (dissections, aneurysms/arch, TEVARs), structural heart (Watchman, TAVR, MitraClip,
tricuspid clip/Triscend), CABG, robotic thoracic, and a busy EP service. In addition, there is a
growing transplant / LVAD surgical heart failure program.
Total case volume is robust:
Exceeding 1300 open hearts / yearCall is taken from home with post call off.8 weeks PTO / 1 week CME.Preferred candidates are fellowship trained and are at least testamurs of the NBE/APTE exam.Very competitive compensation package with excellent benefits / CME support.
