Qualification and Licensure Requirements

Requires Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of a PA program accredited by any of the following accrediting bodies:Committee on Allied Health, Education Accreditation of the American Medical   Association (CAHEA);Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP);Accreditation Review Commission on the Education of the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).Current applicable state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant or ability to obtain licensure upon date of hire. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Requires experience in direct patient management in the Oncology subspecialty.Knowledge of acute and chronic disease states, administration and prescription of medications, and delivering physical care following treatment plan.
