Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. Minimum of a master’s degree of Science in Physician Assistant studies required.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations:

State of South Carolina certification as a Physician Assistant. Prescriptive privileges or are eligible to apply.

Job Description:

Contributes to physician's effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed; recommending options and courses of action; implementing treatment directives.
Assesses patient condition by reviewing medical history and performing physical examinations, interpreting test results and formulating plan of care.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with proper procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team management of patient care.
