JOB SUMMARY
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients in collaboration with a physician. This individual works within a cooperative department, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction.
Marshfield Clinic is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine/Urgent Care NP or PA to join their River Regions team. You will float to our Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids Centers in this role.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Required Education: Master’s degree nurse practitioner/Physician Assistant.
Preferred/Optional: None
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: one to two years experience in ED/UC at APC level
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

Minimum Required
Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License.Nurse Practitioner Certification awarded by a national certifying body. Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber Certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of employment. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association.Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association.Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
