Physician| Thoracic Surgeon

The Department of Surgery, Division of Thoracic Surgery, is seeking a board certified or eligible part-time Thoracic Surgeon with training in advanced oncologic thoracic surgery to meet the needs of our growing program in Southern California. The Thoracic Surgeon can look forward to providing patient-centered care in collaboration with a world class, nationally recognized multidisciplinary team of Thoracic providers.

Base Salary Range only: $350k-450k. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits.  Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

·         BC/BE in cardiothoracic surgery 

·         Training and skills in minimally invasive thoracic surgical techniques including thoracoscopic and robotic surgery

·         Selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license

·         Applicants must have a M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree
