As a Physical Therapist (PT) with Sentara, you evaluate and treat patients with a variety of mobility impairments. You help them every day with regaining a piece of their independence and seeing their success. This position's primary duties include transferring, ambulating, assisting with exercises, gait training, stair climbing, and balance. Day hours: 8:00am-5:00pm or 7:30am-4:30pm
Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.Master's or Doctorate Level Degree preferred. 1 year experience required for Resource Pool applicants.
