Physical Therapist - Rehab

Evaluates patients, plans treatment programs, and performs physical therapy procedures to restore function, prevent disability, and maximize the potential and quality of life following disease, injury, or surgery. Appropriately modifies treatment plans and procedures specific to pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients. Uses appropriate communication techniques for specific age groups and applies knowledge of growth and development and the aging process to achieve optimal results.

 

Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy in a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association. Must be licensed by the state of North Carolina as a Physical Therapist. One or more years experience in an acute care facility preferred, but new graduates accepted and encouraged to apply; experience with adolescent, and geriatric patients. Familiarity with JCAHO and other hospital regulatory agency standards, rules, and regulations.
