Physical Therapist - Children's Outpatient - Full Time

Department Details

- Looking for a highly motivated and passionate Physical Therapist with experience in a pediatric outpatient setting or willingness to learn. Will see a variety of diagnosis but typical torticollis, developmental delay, toe walking. Will also have opportunity to sharpen both the neurological and orthopedic skills. Great team with lots of opportunities to learn pediatric skills!

- Preferably Monday-Friday day shift, but would consider other options.

- Weekend/Holiday on call only with coverage every 8 weekends

Job Description

Conduct thorough physical assessments, including range of motion, strength, and functional mobility, to develop personalized treatment plans.Plans, organizes and delivers physical therapy programs that help patients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve their overall physical health through home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications.Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes, in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.

Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.

When applicable, may require valid driver's license.

Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
