Physical Therapist – Per Diem - Massry Center Troy, NY - Outpatient

If you are looking for a Per Diem position in Outpatient Physical Therapy, this could be your opportunity. Hours are as needed but would be for days and/or evenings during the week (Monday through Friday). No weekend hours.

What you will do:

As a Physical Therapist, you are responsible for direct patient care. Integrate elements of patient/client management, examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and interventions in a manner designed to maximize patient’s functional outcomes. Document treatments and patient progress according to professional, department policies and procedures. Functions as a part of the multidisciplinary team working with patients with a primary diagnosis of CVA, SCI, LE Amputation, Orthopedics, and Cardiopulmonary conditions.

Responsibilities:

Formulates comprehensive treatment program by evaluating patient’s past medical history, disease/condition, impairments, disability and functional/developmental statusPrioritize patient care needsAccurately assess patient’s rehab needs through the continuum of care and provides appropriate disposition, equipment, education and treatment recommendations in a timely mannerCompletes all documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, regulatory and facility's corporate compliance standardsAll clinical and payer required documentation is concise, pertinent, legible and in accordance with organizational requirements

What you will need:

Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science, Master’s degree or Clinical Doctorate of physical therapy degree.Current NYS Physical Therapy license and registration1 year of Physical Therapy required, Outpatient experience preferredMust be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written

Per Diem Rate - $50/hr

Pay Range (experience-based range if hired for Full-Time or Part-Time) : $37.60 - $47.60 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
