At the full performance level, GS-13 the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Prepares and reviews programmatic and project-specific air quality and environmental justice impact analyses and documents under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Tracks and keeps abreast of air quality and environmental justice data trends in the offshore energy industry and regulatory changes issued by the Environmental Protection Agency and local jurisdictions. Recommends and reviews statements of work and draft reports for research, contracts, and agreements. Accepts responsibility for the entire procurement cycle for assigned procurements including the initial statement of work and market research. Coordinates with multiple parties and stakeholders, and other Federal and state agencies, including regulatory agencies, and groups active in environmental justice.
