About the role:
The Access Control Specialist reports to the Manager of Security Technology and works with high-performing teams to contribute to a best-in-class physical security program that consists of information technologies, cyber and physical security systems, with the objective of increasing adherence to company security, awareness, creating safe working environments, and remaining compliant with applicable regulatory bodies.
What you will do?
Execute on operational processes and implement continuous improvements solutions for physical access control and video management systems, access provisioning/deprovisioning, testing, and responding to compliance requests. Leverage data analytics and reporting tools to scale our analysis capabilities, providing timely, data-driven insights on access control trends, compliance metrics, and system performance to key stakeholders and partners.Utilize access request systems and other intake tools (e.g., CCURE 9000 and ServiceNow) in processing user requests to ensure compliance with security controls. Collaborate and support other teams with consultation, design, project meetings, administrative support, and implementation of security hardware and software solutions. Develop and maintain strong partnerships, ensuring consistent and clear communications with business partners.
What You Need To Succeed?
Degree or diploma in Information Security, Business Management, Computer Science, or related field or experience. 2-3 years of experience within information technology, information security, or corporate security. Experience with physical access control systems such as CCURE 9000, intrusion detection, and video management systems.Possess or working towards a professional designation preferably in security management: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Associate Protection Professional (APP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP). An ability to narrate compelling stories with advanced data analysis, proficiency with visualization, and excellent communications skills.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, with the ability to troubleshoot security access issues, prioritize tasks and escalate/communicate issues to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the provisioning service.

It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
