Hours:
Full-Time (40 hours per week)Evenings; 2:30pm-2:30pm-11:30pm. Monday - Friday - 8-hour shiftsRotating every other weekend and holiday. Includes working 3 holidays a year.Team rotates benches: -In patients, Outpatients and ERD

About the job
In this role, the Phlebotomist uses approved techniques to collect quality biological samples for laboratory testing from all patient populations (pediatric through geriatric); and performs electrocardiograms (EKG's) for cardiology interpretation, all while focusing on the needs of the patient and exemplifying the service excellence goals of care, concern, respect and cooperation.

Required:
High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or educationA graduate of a phlebotomy training program that provides a clinical rotation from an accredited school1.5 years of phlebotomy work experience is required Must have professional ability to interact with patients, nurses, providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.Possess good written and oral communication skills, the ability to prioritize work, manage time wisely, and adjust to changes in work volumes and projects.Excellent customer service skills.Licensure/Certifications
Preferred:
CPR must be obtained within 90 days of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) ONLY.Certificates from a technical college where the course was only taken; is NOT accepted.
