Position: Phlebotomist IHourly Pay Range: $17.00 - $27.32. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $18.84 base pay hourly rate beginning with May 2025 paychecks. Location: Patient Service Centers; Cook County, IL LocationsFull Time/Part Time: Full TimeHours: Monday-Friday, rotating shifts; e/o weekend and rotating holidaysRequired Travel: Yes

What you will need:

License: N/AEducation: High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experienceCertification: CPR-BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider required and PBT (ASCP) certification preferredExperience: Phlebotomy training experience strongly preferredSkills: Good communication and organization skills, moderate computer skills needed, reliable transportation to travel between sites required, strong customer service skills.

What you will do:

Perform a variety of routine and special phlebotomy procedures as authorized by the Manager/DirectorResponsible for ordering tests into the Laboratory and Hospital computer systems and documenting Lab receipt of specimensCollect patient specimens in accordance with test requirements and in a manner which is appropriate for the age and/or specific patient population servedCollect blood samples for specific tests ensuring volume is adequate and correct tubes are utilized
