Phlebotomist Salary Rate: $17.50Location: Houston, TXShift: Monday – Friday 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.Employment Type: Temporary/Temp-To-Hire We are looking for a skilled Phlebotomist who will collect blood samples, perform bedside lab testing and process body fluids from patients. What you will be doing: Collects blood samples, performs bedside lab testing and processes body fluids from patients.
ScopeImpacts patient care in assigned department through the production of analytical data on patient specimens.Demonstrates competency in performing routine venipuncture, finger stick, arterial blood collections and obtaining blood directly from patient catheters. Collects and maintains patient samples for analysis in the laboratory. Processes, prepares and aliquots specimens for testing. Notes information on collection records.
