**Overview** **Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation |** **Select Medical** 1199 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ 07052 **Pharmacy Technician -** **Inpatient Rehab** **_Shift Hours_** **:** Per Deim/PRN, Weekend Only Saturday & Sunday, 9AM - 5PM **Base Rate: $26/HR** **Benefits of becoming a pharmacy tech with us:** + **Shift Differential!** + Team-oriented and collaborative culture + Impact on patient care and their quality of life + Ability to grow and learn new skills + Opportunity to gain hospital pharmacy experience + Great orientation and training program + A network of over 50K employees nationwide with advancement/relocation opportunities **Responsibilities** The Pharmacy Technician completes a variety of department tasks and services and is responsible for the daily operations of the Pharmacy under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy or the pharmacist on duty during the shift. + Picks up drug orders at the nursing station(s) and prepares medications under supervision of pharmacist. + Delivers the appropriate quantities of the medication to the correct patient area(s). + Assists with accurate billing and crediting of patient medications. + Maintains drugs in the Pharmacy according to the Drug Formulary and per policy, including ordering, receiving, storage, and filling out all necessary paperwork. + Monitors doses administered according to Medication Administration Record on the narcotics sign-out record.
