Schedule: M-F 10am-6:30pm, every other weekend rotation.

This role will be performed onsite at a closed-door pharmacy in Boca Raton, FL.

All patient interactions will be over the phone.

Comprehensive training provided side by side with training team.

Must be comfortable working in a high-volume environment.

Evaluates/triages incoming fax prescriptions in Docutrack to ensure timely and accurate entry into pharmacy operations system. Routes incoming calls to appropriate department/individual. Receives processes and follows-up on refill requests.

• Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required queues.

• Triage new fax, refills, new orders, collect, prioritize, and sort incoming faxes to the appropriate

department/area.

• Resolve customer complaints, issues, and concerns.

• Research questions, issues, and concerns as directed by management

• Answer incoming customer calls

• Prioritize and respond appropriately to facilities with questions concerning orders

• Obtain information, explain available products or services to clients.

• Respond to inquiries about refills or prescription status

• Manage assigned queues in docutrack to include clarification que, Maintain IVR, Refill too Soon Ticker, E-Kit slips queue, Fill-No-fill queue, PPD Report, Skype message, Refills Reviews.

• Review orders for completeness and fax back orders to customers as needed.

• Initiate non-discretionary calls to facilities.

• Communicate with pharmacy customer service staff via email, phone or fax regarding patient changes received from facilities.

• Coordinate/manage “STAT” order process.

TRAINING/SKILLS:

• Registered Pharmacy Technician license required

• 2+ years CPhT experience, preferably in high-volume pharmacy

• Good computer skills, including pharmacy operations system

• Excellent verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to problem solve, make decisions in fast-paced environment, and work to deadlines

• Ability to work assigned shift with no tardiness and minimal absences.

EDUCATION: High School diploma or G.E.D required

PHYSICAL AND/OR MACHINERY: Requires working a set schedule but must be flexible to accommodate after hours demands. This position requires use of the computer for long periods of time. Technician must be able to communicate effectively and professionally on the phone and exemplify excellent customer service
