Details:

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-hour shift between the hours of 9am-6pm.This role will be performed on-site at a closed-door pharmacy in Boise, ID 83704.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering and processing prescriptions into the pharmacy operating system with both speed and accuracy, while providing exceptional customer service.

Essential Job Functions (include the following): 

Enter new and refill prescriptions into operating system in accurate and timely mannerTriage incoming fax prescriptionsEnsure proper notes in patient profileDemonstrate caring, understanding and courtesy when responding to calls from customers.Receive, evaluate, process and follow-up as needed with doctors’ offices on all refills assignedDevelop and learn cycle in order to meet delivery deadlines. Maintain data entry records for cycle medication, fill requests and process cycle medication orders needing renewal in addition to new cycle orders as applicable

Education and/or Certifications 

High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB)

Skills and Qualifications: 

Proficiency in fundamental computer operations and software applicationsAbility to organize, identify and prioritize daily workloadGreat attention to detail and accuracyAbility to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentQuality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
