Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, you will triage, interpret, and input orders into a computerized medication order system while maintaining accuracy and productivity standards. You will audit inputs versus documentation, perform drug calculations, resolve issues of denials through adjudication, and follow up on claims. You will maintain current knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes, produce reports on unpaid claims, provide excellent customer service, and assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the supervision of a Pharmacist. Additional tasks as directed by management may include assisting in any area of the pharmacy.

This position is located in a closed-door pharmacy, allowing you to focus on fulfilling the pharmaceutical needs of long-term care clients. The work environment is more akin to a production and fulfillment warehouse. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, with shifts as follows: Tuesday 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Wednesday 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Thursday 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Friday 9:00 AM to 7:20 PM. The initial assignment length is 13 weeks, with potential for contract extension or conversion based on performance and business needs. Consultants must complete online training modules prior to starting. The organization offers a non-retail environment with advancement opportunities for career progression. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
