Position Summary:

Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required

Licenses: Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy in good standing and PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Pharmacy Intern

Required Skills within 90 days of hire 

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Essential Functions

Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.

Fills medication carts on a daily basis.

Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.

Repackages bulk medications.
