Pharmacy Residency PGY1
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Rotating Shift **Description:** What you will do: + Provides pharmaceutical care to patients assigned by actively monitoring drug therapy, providing interventions and performing consults for all assigned patients. + Promotes professionalism and strives to raise the level of professional practice. + Responds to drug information questions. + Provides medication teaching to patients and families as appropriate. + Documents in the patient’s medical record all pertinent information, including but not limited to progress notes, consultations. + Provides pharmacokinetic dosing and recommendations as appropriate. + Monitor parenteral nutrition and provide recommendations as appropriate. + Participates in on-call responsibilities as required. + Attends in-services, grand rounds, and teleconferences as directed by preceptor. + Prepares and presents case presentations as required. + Prepare and present lectures at Drake University as assigned.
