Schedule: Full Time
Shift : 40 hours/week; Day shift, Monday - Friday
Location: Will cover both AdventHealth Hinsdale and Glen Oaks Hospitals
The role you’ll contribute:
Manages the daily operations of pharmacy services.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Develops and implements performance improvement activities to include medication safety, medication use evaluation and pharmacoeconomics.
· Conducts competency assessments and coordinates the training and development of pharmacists, pharmacy residents and pharmacy students.
· Develops and manages departmental budget to promote pharmacoeconomics.
· Ensures compliance with federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. Also serves on various committees.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
· 3 years of experience required.
· 1 year of leadership or management experience required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
· Master's degree preferred.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
· Pharmacist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
