Job Description:

Main responsibilities

Together with health assistant do receptions during arrival of products.Update all movements in Stock Cards.Ensure that the stock level is updated by doing regular physical inventories.Support to organize drugs and medical materials according to WVI-A standards (by category, alphabetical order on international non-proprietary name, expiry date, “first expiring first out” system - FEFO) at all project’s level.Support to ensure the stock is in perfect conditions of: hygiene, organization, storage capacity, ambient temperature.Be responsible for all movements and storage of drugs under controlled use (narcotics, psychotropics and precursors).Follow up stock level by doing a list of items to replace and reporting to the health assistant any change in the consumption.Be responsible for monthly orders submitted to pharmacy.Support the ordering process from Services - weekly orders - to ensure they are done
appropriately and according to standards, reporting to health assistant any irregularities in prescriptions.Follow up expiry dates, by doing a list of items to expire within 6 months and reporting to the health assistant.Supervise and support the management of expired/damaged items.Report immediately to the health assistant problem arising in the service, especially the loss/ robbery/damage of medical equipment or medicines.

Reporting, analysis monitoring and evaluation

Prepare monthly consumption and stock report and send it to direct line manager/field pharmacy Coordinator.Prepare distribution, reception, physical inventory, and donation, expire and damage reports to direct line manager and field pharmacy manager on a monthly basis.Analyze the consumption of drugs and other pharmaceuticals and provide feedback to line manager.Analysis of the reports to find gaps (shortages, short expiry, supply problems, and discrepancies) and share them with line manager and Pharmacy coordinator

Required Professional Experience

At least 1 years of Relevant experience as a dispensing pharmacist

Experience in provision of Pharmacy, Nursing.

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification

At least 14th grade qualification in Nurse, nutrition, or related relevant discipline

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

Humanitarian context knowledge and experience. Experience in developing action plans, preparing curriculum and training/orientation materials Experience in documentation and reporting Experience working with community leaders (Community Based Structures) Experience in adult learning methodology and monitoring of training activities Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work as part of a field team. Very good communication with communities and local authorities. Ability to exhibit exemplary lifestyle as interpreted in specific local cultural context Cross cultural sensitivity, flexible views, emotional maturity and physical stamina. Demonstrable experience in child protection, child rights Interpersonal, management and conflict resolution skills. Results oriented and good team-player Good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet use and Lotus Notes.
