Pharmacovigilance Intern
**Job Description Summary** The GE HealthCare Global Pharmacovigilance Organization, part of Pharmaceutical Diagnostics, ensures patient safety by maintaining a robust Pharmacovigilance System. Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety activities are critical activities in a pharmaceutical company. In this role the PV Compliance Intern supports a wide range of moderate to sometimes multifaceted scope and complex pharmacovigilance activities working within established timeframes ensuring compliance with global and local procedures, policies, processes, and guidelines. **Job Description** There will be opportunities to contribute globally and cross functionally within the GPV organization. The PV Intern role is a unique opportunity to understand the advantages and complexities of a global pharmacovigilance organization. Daily activities may involve, but are not limited to, daily PV case processing activities, safety reconciliation efforts consisting of documentation and monitoring of safety information exchange with GEHC partners, providing support as needed for project management activities including audit and inspection exposure and supporting safety database initiatives. This role provides a great opportunity to expose yourself to the field of drug safety. Qualifications/Requirements • Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in, pharmacy, nursing, biology or life science discipline, and must be able to work full time in Summer 2025 • Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills, problem solving and negotiation skills • Candidates must have strong data analytic and technical skills as well as document management. • Candidates must high integrity, sense of urgency and ability to recognize time sensitivity • Candidates must be a self-starter, fast learner and able to take initiative, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced team environment and able to work in remote office setting. • Candidates must have a strong sense of responsibility and an ability to work autonomously, as well work in a team setting and be open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations **Additional Information** GE HealthCare offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
