Pharmacist Outpatient
Under the direction of the Assistant Director Pharmacy-Outpatient Services, the Pharmacist oversees the daily activities of the medication use process (selecting, prescribing, dispensing, administration and monitoring of medications) and provides comprehensive assessments and analysis in collaboration with integrated team members. The pharmacist oversees the activities of the pharmacy technicians and interns, coordinating workflow and verifying all medications prepared for patients.   Hourly Pay Rate: 52.58 - $77.56 Part Time   Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm D) with current licensure in Arizona. Experience: One (1) year of retail/outpatient pharmacy experience preferred.   Certification/Licensure: Requires Pharmacy licensure in good standing in the state of Arizona. Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or submit a completed Affidavit at time of hire. Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within 90 days of applying for fingerprint clearance card. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must demonstrate proficiency and productivity in a fast paced environment with unscheduled interruptions while maintaining acceptable judgment, responsibility, and assumption for decisions, consequences, and results. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with all levels of staff, physicians, patients and other contacts. Must have good business acuity. Must demonstrate the ability to read, analyze, and interpret industry-related periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations and effectively present information relevant to their area of expertise when appropriate. Demonstrate practical knowledge of computers, software, and products applicable to the pharmacy industry. Requires qualification to participate in federal health care programs, including but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid. Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
