Position Description

As part of the Health care team, leads operation and clinical activity of the Pharmacy Staff so as to provide pharmaceutical care. Acts as a professional resource. Serves all patients, including, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescent, adults and geriatrics.

 

Main Pharmacy Lead Pharmacist; will work 3x12hr shifts in the Main Pharmacy. Responsible for supervising operations of pharmacists and technicians in the Main Pharmacy on days and evenings. Will work with Lead counterpart that will mirror shifts with overlap one day per week. Will support operations, clinical and customer service. Must have strong leadership, communication, operations and clinical skills.

Position Requirements

REQUIRED

 Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy. One (1) year pharmacy experience in the specialty care area (example: hospital, retail, infusion center, oncology, critical care, etc). Member of a hospital pharmacist organization.

PREFERRED

 Previous management experience.
