What You Will Do

The Manager Role supports PGIM Real Estate’s Vice President, ORM Europe & Asia in ensuring that business, operational and regulatory risks, when weighed against business opportunities, are well managed and acceptable. The main responsibilities include;

Support operational and enterprise risk management reporting in Europe

Assist with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Insurance Risk Management, Records Management, Privacy and Business Continuity processes as needed

Support on initial/ongoing due diligence on third parties with PGIM RE Business (regulatory compliance of contracts, risk monitoring, efficiency of the monitoring system, UK Modern Slavery Act, Cloud Outsourcing)

Contribute to implement, document and review the risk management framework and policies in Europe

Work with the ORM team and business management to proactively identify and evaluate operational business risks and trends, and develop processes that help mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and protect PGIM RE's brand

Provide temporary support for APAC-related operational risk tasks and initiatives until an open position is filled

What You Will Bring

Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a Business School or University preferably with a specialization in Risk, Finance, Accounting, or Economics

3-5 years of related work experience in risk management or similar function within the institutional asset management business or consulting firm

Self-starter, highly motivated individual who can work independently and is eager to learn

Good interpersonal skills, team player, capability to interface professionally with various internal and external stakeholders

Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills, being able to summarize and communicate complex issues effectively, orally and in writing

Strong MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills required and Visio a plus

Good knowledge of AIFMD and FCA regulatory requirements as well as privacy and other regulatory requirements

Experience in working in an international and multicultural environment / have a global mindset

What We Offer You

Private Medical Insurance: PGIM offers private medical insurance and pays the full premium on behalf of all employees.

Annual Leave of 25 to 28 days, based on years of service, at full pay.

Retirement Savings Plan: Employees receive a company contribution of 10% basic annual salary and a maximum employer-matching contribution of 5% of basic annual salary.

Life Assurance & Income Protection: Life Assurance for 12 times your basic annual salary, up to a max benefit of £1.8million. 60% of your basic annual salary for a limited payment terms of 5 years, at the end of which a capital sum of 2x your basic annual salary is payable.
