Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical PFMEA Moderator to join our team in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. As a PFMEA Moderator, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating potential failure modes in our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality and reliability.

Lead and facilitate Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) sessions with cross-functional teamsAnalyze manufacturing processes to identify potential failure modes and their effects on product qualityDevelop and implement risk assessment and mitigation strategiesConduct statistical analysis to prioritize and address high-risk areasCollaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to implement preventive actionsMaintain and update PFMEA documentation and databasesTrain team members on PFMEA methodologies and best practicesMonitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented corrective actionsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organizationStay updated on industry standards and regulations relevant to PFMEA and quality management

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Industrial, or related fieldIntermediate EnglishExperience: Leading PFMEA sessions and workshopsIn manufacturing process and quality management systemsPFMEA software tools (desirable)Project managementProblem solvingKnowledge: Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) methodologiesRisk assessment and mitigation strategiesStatistical analysis and data interpretationSix Sigma certification -Green Belt or higher (desirable)Automotive industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949) is a plus
