Job Description

PFM Asset Management (PFMAM) offers local government investment pools (LGIPs), cash and enhanced cash portfolios, short and intermediate term fixed income, outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO), payment solutions (P-Card) program, multi-manager mutual funds, structured products, and arbitrage rebate consulting. PFM works with organizations of all sizes across the nation and focus solely on the public sector and our clients include cities, counties, school districts, pension funds, utilities, and governmental insurance risk pools. We provide efficiencies necessary for our clients to deliver economical completive products while we protect their business interests and minimize risks.

As Transfer Agent for the LGIPs, we partner to create tailored solutions for specific needs and advise public sector institutions.  We helped develop the first local government investment pool (LGIP), have since expanded our work across 18 programs with thousands of investors nationwide, and offer a wide variety of options for LGIPs that are tailored to the needs and objectives of each program or fund. Our approach to managing pools is to use a common infrastructure for operations while adapting programs to meet the specific needs of local government investors in a state.  Efficient and detail-oriented individuals will be able to showcase their talents and develop long-lasting relationships through excellent verbal and written communications.

Retrieve external bank reports for intradepartmental LGIP operational use. Provide initial review and reconciliation of previous and current day internal and external reporting; appropriately alert affiliated teams of discrepancies and work to resolve them while adhering to organizational compliance policies. Accurately process client transactions as directed via client form request and TERM files. Monitor and reconcile same day wire activity. Maintain client contact and account information in internal record keeping systems. Open and close accounts per client direction. Respond to client audit confirmation requests and quarterly/annual internal audits. Have working knowledge of some daily operational requirements, policies, and procedures of PFMAM LGIP Research Team. Synthesize knowledge and problem-solving skills to research and resolve ledger discrepancies discovered in intradepartmental reconciliation work with support and/or review by Research Analyst II or Lead. Respond to intradepartmental inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Assess and resolve time sensitive operational issues in a timely manner to minimize negative shareholder and company impact. Assist in projects and initiatives to continually improve team performance and efficiency. Train, assist with workload, and review the work product of Research Analyst Admin as needed.

Basic Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in business related field or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 1 year experience as a Research Admin

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $25.63 - $34.18 - $37.60
