PET Supply Chain Specialist
Job Description SummaryThe PET Supply Chain Specialist Performs diverse and complex assignments in support of GEHC/PDx-PET Arlington Heights, supply chain activities. Develops and deploys best practice material handling with MRP/WMS architecture for materials receiving, inspection, disposition, staging, storage, picking, reconciliation and internal/external replenishment.

Our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world.

Job Description

Responsibilities: Key responsibilities/essential functions performed in an IATA/DOT, cGMP, FDA & SOX regulated environment include:

Coordinates JIT materials flow/replenishment with Manufacturing, Demand Planning, PET/ISC, Logistics & QALead NPI material integration projects to create/optimize logistics flows within the plant, US and globallyOwns and leads coordination with on-site and/or sister site warehousing facilities for materials replenishment and storageProactively initiates DMS dialogue with Manufacturing, Demand Planning, PET/ISC, Logistics & QA peers to resolve/prevent material shortagesInitiates SAP Business Critical site materials/warehousing issues/enhancements with SAP Basis Team, Business Support and BPEGOwns/manages site PET PI, coordinates with Finance, PDx Controllership and SOX audits on frequency, compliance, and reconciliationManages SAP WMS/MM design and inputs for capacity utilization, costing, risk resilience and process transparencyDevelops, authors, reviews, approves local/global documentation, SOP’s in QMS/EDMS Performs advanced WMS trouble shooting to mitigate operations impact to stakeholders and material lifecyclesUse six sigma, LEAN tools and leads Kaizen teams to improve established/deploy new, sustainable PET processes and KPI’sLead compliance investigations/quality projects, identify defect trends/root cause, advanced understanding of PET Quality matrixAdvocate of DMS/LEAN culture and drives compliance with EHS & Quality System regulations and policiesPerform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years experience in a cGMP discipline including one and/or a combination of Distribution, Logistics, Materials, Inventory role(s)Proficient in mathematicsAbility to work various shifts on-call, weekends & holidaysStrong interpersonal skills; ability to connect with all levels of the organization with transparency & humilityAdvanced knowledge of MRP, Quality & EHS systems  Ability to consistently liftAdvanced knowledge of 21CFR, parts 11, 210, 211 in an FDA regulated industry

Preferred Qualifications:

A four-year degree or Supply Chain degreeLEAN/Six Sigma certificationAPICS/CPIM Certification
