Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Personnel Manager for the Dean’s Office within the School of Engineering. Reporting to the Vice Dean of Administration and Planning, serves as a central HR Liaison for the School handling both staff and faculty HR issues. Is responsible for the daily administration and coordination of human resources and personnel programs and policies impacting School of Engineering employees, including staff, faculty, and student workers.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: Ensures that the School of Engineering’s processes are aligned with University’s HR and Labor Relations operational policies and that all academic departments and centers within the school understand and adhere to those policies. Oversees and advises on personnel actions for faculty, staff, and student employees. Ensures offer letters and forms for other personnel actions prepared at the school level are completed accurately and on a timely basis. Works closely with University Labor Relations. Counsels academic managers on the appropriate process. Oversees faculty promotion actions for tenure track and non-tenure track positions, working directly with academic department chairs, the Dean, the Chancellor’s Office, and the Office of the EVPAA to advance packets through the promotion process Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Day Work Arrangement FLSA Exempt Grade 06 Position Salary Annual Minimum Salary 79387.00 Annual Mid Range Salary 100485.00 Annual Maximum Salary 121582.00 Standard Hours 37.50 Union Description Admin Assembly (MPSC) Payroll Designation PeopleSoft Benefits Rutgers offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees.
