SUMMARY:

Overmyer Hall Associates is seeking to add a Client Manager to their Personal Lines team! The Client Manager will manage assigned personal lines property & casualty accounts to ensure profitability and a high level of retention. They will develop and maintain proactive communications with clients and OHA associates, with a focus on excellent customer service and teamwork.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain relationships with assigned clients, serving as primary contact for all insurance questions and policy changes Attend and participate in carrier and client meetingsTake primary responsibility for policy expiration management and client renewal processesOwns the renewal marketing process and develops marketing strategy for assigned renewal businessPerforms periodic coverage and risk reviews to ensure the adequacy of every clients’ insurance program, as well as contract reviews as requested by clientsSupport Advisors through marketing new prospective clients, communicating with carrier underwriters on the risk profile, determining where the best fit for the prospective client is and providing proposalsComplete policy application details for newly bound policies into EpicHandle communications and correspondences from OHA associates, clients and carriers and work diligently to answer questions or resolve issuesAgency billing including new business, renewal, and endorsement invoicingAssist with claim reporting and follow up as neededSupport and adhere to agency goals and objectivesPerform all other duties as assigned by Personal Lines Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

Four years progressively responsible experience in an independent personal lines insurance agency required OR similar years of related work experience dealing directly with personal insurance coveragesOhio Property and Casualty license is requiredProfessional designations are preferredCollege degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is requiredKnowledge of personal insurance and productsStrong understanding and comfort using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Existing knowledge of Applied Epic is preferredStrong customer service, organization and time management skillsStrong decision making and problem-solving skillsPotential to work a hybrid or remote schedule

Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Negligible

Required Education: High school or equivalent
