Performance Marketing Manager, Strategic Projects
## **_This is a hybrid role - our team collaborates in-person out of our incredible office in New York City 50% of the time._** **About the role** This role is part of the Paid Strategic Projects team within the broader Performance Marketing Strategy & Investment team and will focus on advancing our performance marketing strategy to align with the broader strategic priorities of the business.  This role will include working on initiatives around building strategies for how we invest resources, support new products, audience expansion, and measurement while also looking ahead to new opportunities to advance our performance marketing strategy.  It is a job that requires a combination of subject matter expertise, curiosity, and grit with excellent judgment and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand the complexities of strategic business priorities and leverage strong knowledge of Performance Marketing to build a cohesive strategy.  They will also be comfortable with making decisions under uncertainty and working cross-functionally with key partners across Marketing, Operations, Data Science, Finance, and more to solve Uber’s toughest challenges.  It will be critical for the candidate to be able to communicate and drive alignment across a wide range of stakeholders with varying degrees of Performance Marketing knowledge. **What You’ll Do** - Build out new strategies that advance our approach to performance marketing. - Understand the broader business trends and priorities to align our strategic approach and resource allocation. - Communicate and drive alignment with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. - Work closely with Channel managers to experiment and implement new strategies. - Drive the planning and product management elements for strategic initiatives. **Basic Qualifications** - 4+ years of experience in Performance Marketing. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. - Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency. - Bachelor's degree. **Preferred Qualifications** - **Self-directed:** Highly-proactive, organized, self-starter capable of effectively managing several projects at the same time. - **Problem solver:** Never hesitates to dive right in and address something hands-on, persevering and finding solutions. - **Clear communicator:** Strong communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to synthesize complex ideas and deliver a clear narrative to a variety of audiences. - **Organizer and planner**: Demonstrated ability to create and implement new processes. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$135,000 per year - USD$150,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
