My client is currently seeking a Performance Marketer to join their team in Johannesburg
\r\n\r\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
\r\nPaid Media Management:
\r\n\r\nPlan, execute, and optimize PPC (pay-per-click) campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, and other paid platforms.\r\nManage retargeting and prospecting campaigns to improve conversion rates.\r\nAllocate and optimize ad spend based on performance insights.\r\n\r\n\r\n
Analytics & Performance Tracking:
\r\n\r\nTrack, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CTR, CPC, ROAS, and LTV.\r\nSet up and manage Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and conversion tracking tools.\r\nConduct A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and audience segments.\r\n\r\n\r\n
SEO & CRO Optimization:
\r\n\r\nWork with content and web teams to improve SEO rankings and organic traffic growth.\r\nOptimize landing pages for better conversion rates (CRO - Conversion Rate Optimization).\r\n\r\n\r\n
Marketing Automation & CRM:
\r\n\r\nIntegrate performance marketing efforts with CRM for lead scoring and segmentation.\r\nManage email marketing campaigns to enhance customer engagement and retention.\r\n\r\n\r\n
Collaboration & Strategy Development:
\r\n\r\nCollaborate closely with the Graphic Designer to create high-converting ad creatives.\r\nWork closely with designers, copywriters, and developers to ensure cohesive marketing campaigns.\r\nStay updated with industry trends, algorithm changes, and new advertising technologies.\r\nDevelop and execute growth marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention.\r\n\r\n\r\n
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
\r\n\r\n\r\nDesign Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with a Graphic Designer to align creative concepts with marketing strategies.Content Management: Experience in managing and optimizing content for digital campaigns, including social media and email marketing.\r\nAnalytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and social media insights.\r\nData Interpretation: Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.\r\nKnowledge of Tech Tools: Familiarity with the latest digital marketing tools and technologies, including CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.\r\nPeople Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and copywriters.\r\nOrganizational Skills: Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.\r\nCreativity and Metrics-Driven Mindset: Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity and a strategic approach to performance optimization.\r\nA/B Testing and Optimization: Experience with A/B testing, data analysis, and campaign optimization.\r\nWritten and Verbal Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying campaign insights and recommendations.\r\n\r\n

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
\r\n\r\n\r\nBachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.\r\nMinimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a Performance Marketing role or Digital Marketing position with a strong focus on Paid Media (PPC) and Digital Advertising.\r\nProven track record in managing and optimizing campaigns on platforms such as:\r\n\r\n\r\nGoogle Ads\r\nMeta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads\r\nLinkedIn Ads\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience with:\r\n\r\n\r\nGoogle Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)\r\nA/B Testing and campaign optimization\r\nPerformance tracking metrics (e.g., CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, LTV)\r\n
