Description
The clinical nurse is a professional Registered Nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients using the nursing process in accordance with the standards of professional nursing practice. The clinical nurse performs in the professional role as described by the American Nurses Association (ANA); engaging in activities related to ethics, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality improvement, leadership, collaboration, professional practice evaluation , resources utilization, environmental health, and patient advocacy as appropriate to clinical nursing practice.
Salary: $91.84 - $91.84 Hourly
Qualifications
We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing
professional with:
+ Current valid California RN license, required
+ Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN degree, required.
+ Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
+ Two years of direct nursing patient care in an Emergency Department setting required.
+ Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire.
+ Clinical skills include patient assessment, IV start, knowledge of medications, IV infusions and airway management.
+ Ability to provide appropriate care for high acuity patients such as stroke, STEMI, trauma, psych, and pediatric populations.
+ Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis.
+ Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments.
+ Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff.
