The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting patients in attaining and maintaining Amergisum function due to chronic illness and/or a debilitating injury. The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse assists patients in the recovery process, as well as creating a recovery plan with the ultimate goal of achieving an independent lifestyle as much as possible.
Minimum Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices One year prior professional nursing experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred CRRN certification may be required per state/client contract Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of ageWhat you will do in this role:
Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient Performs timely and accurate QI assessmentsQualifications
Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program Current state licensure as Registered Nurse CPR/BCLS certification.
