Responsibilities DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Jockey tractors, trailers, trucks to and from the docks, drive-thru, and compound areas. Safely and efficiently manage traffic flow in the yard. Co-ordinate with drivers (common carrier and PBC) to check in/check out at appropriate door. Ensure PBC trailers in the yard are in assigned spots. Communicate loading information to and from the Delivery/Production Departments and Shipper/Receiver/Checker Reports tractor/trailer damages/deficiencies to the fleet department Red tag tractors/trailers as required. Work within a team environment. Complete and hand in circle check report at the beginning of the shift Follow Control & Compliance Rules and Regulations Maintain work area in a neat and tidy condition. Coordinate with Fleet with transferring of assets between the yard/East Lot and the shop to support their repair/service schedule. Communicate with 3rd party carriers to have trailers picked up to help clear space in both our lots. Work with Operations Supervisors (Production, Warehouse, and Delivery) to further proper yard management. Train delivery drivers with shunting procedures to help cover vacations and sick calls. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: A valid AZ Ontario License
