To drive a high performance and learning culture across the group through developing and implementing learning strategies and programs advancing workforce skills and knowledge required to achieve company purpose and goals and through building the CSI brands internally and
externally The role will drive the learning and development function in providing a professional proactive service delivering learning and development solutions at all levels across the group The role is responsible for overall management and coordination of the learning and development
function Key to the role is the ability to partner and build relationships at all levels of business developing rapport and strong relationships from executive to intern levels The role would also involve management of Generation Z and facilitating workshops and courses so the ideal
candidate should be likeable energetic animated and relatable to all levels and generations within todays modern business environment

Key Performance Areas
Learning
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to assess learning needs through structured and formal processes
Design sell and garner support for as well as implement learning and development strategies in line with business purpose and goals and the BEE scorecard
Design plan organise and direct all offerings and activities
Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of all Academy programs and activities
Keep abreast of all changes with regard to learning and development best practice and legislative requirements for leaning and development and BEE SD and CSI
Assessor and/or moderator for certain Programs
Select and assign instructors to conduct training
Supervise instructors and evaluate instructor performance

SETA
Develop strong working relationship with all concerned SETAs
Lead the accreditation process for any/all programs within the group
Develop and maintain unit standards for all programs and courses developed

Performance Management
Input into the design of the performance management process
Design and manage KPA process flows and templates
Introduce current best practice
Coordinate review and validation processes

Succession Management
Input into the design of the succession management process
Design and manage succession management process flows 9 boxes and other relevant templates
Introduce current best practice
Coordinate talent review forums and validation processes

People Management
Lead and manage the Training Coordinator and at times temporary staff such as interns
Be the custodian of all interns and bursars across the group
Fosters teamwork and high performance
Challenge and develop others through coaching

Scorecard
Maintain a working relationship with the Transformation Manager and other BEE champions for the group
Maintain correct records for training SETA and BEE audits
Manage and report on the SD and Corporate Social Investment pillars of the scorecard
Manage initiatives through the divisions to maximize the group scorecard focusing on SD and Corporate Social Investment

Vendor and Budget Management
Effectively manage and monitor training budget and program expenditure ensuring majority spend on accredited courses and in a manner that maximises points on BEE scorecards
Prepare and maintain budget reports to justify expenditures
Negotiate contracts with providers of training for desired training outcomes fees or expenses
Manage purchase orders and invoices

Requirements
HR or related tertiary qualification Minimum level NQF 6
Minimum 8 years of generalist or specialist HR experience with direct exposure to learning and development
Qualified assessor facilitator and/or moderator advantageous
Learning Management Systems LMS experience advantageous
Content development experience advantageous
Must have experience in supervising or managing a team

Essential Knowledge and Skills
BBBEE Skills Development SD and Corporate Social Investment CSI knowledge
High attention to detail
Working knowledge of Information and Communication Technology ICT and Media Advertising and Communications MAC BEE scorecards
Intermediate Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint
Demonstrates clear verbal and written communications skills
