We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, detail-driven People & Culture Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to dive deep into three essential areas of People & Culture: employee engagement, people development, and people operations. You’ll be at the heart of our human resources efforts, contributing to impactful projects and gaining hands-on experience. This position is expected to start May 2025 and continue through the entire Summer 2025 term (through August 2025). Our internships are a minimum of 10 weeks, part-time and on-site.
In This Role\nPeople Operations \nAssist with People & Culture administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and processing paperwork \nSupport payroll, benefits, safety and compliance by organizing data and ensuring accuracy \nSupport the onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire documentation and terminations \nCollaborate on projects to gain practical experience; learn and contribute to people operations processes \n\nPeople Development \nAssist in planning and organizing learning programs \nCurate learning resources (articles, podcasts, LinkedIn Learning courses) \nTrack employee participation in learning initiatives and compile insights on engagement \nResearch industry trends to suggest new training ideas \nCollect and creatively document learning and development success stories \nEmployee Engagement\nAssist in planning, executing, and improving employee engagement initiatives, events, programs, and platforms; including DEIB efforts, 4U intranet (SharePoint), and company-wide events \nImprove organization within the P&C storage spaces and establish a tracking and distribution system for internal swag \nSupport internal communication efforts, including crafting content for newsletters and announcement\nOther duties as assigned by Management\nUphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team: \nBe open and honest \nReach for excellence \nAct with responsibility \nValue the whole person \nEnjoy the journey\n\n\n
The Ideal Person\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field \nStrong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities \nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal \nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software is a plus \nA proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take initiative\n
Internship Program at Four Hands The Internship Program is aimed to provide students with hands-on experience in the area they are most passionate about. Interns at Four Hands have the opportunity to work closely with various departments to gain valuable knowledge about the company. The program focuses on professional development, offering mentorship from like-minded professionals and the chance to contribute to real projects. Interns are encouraged to bring innovative ideas to make the experience challenging and rewarding. This program will enable students to gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their future careers.
