Pension Analyst (HR Benefit Operations Analyst)Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered.
The Pension Analyst (HR Benefit Operations Analyst) is responsible for monitoring overall departmental effectiveness of assigned HR discipline.
How You Will Make an Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Leads major HR Operations initiatives such as year-end departmental project activities.Ensures ERISA, legal and SOX compliance of departmental activities.Serves as a resource to management team and other associates.Manages the HR Operations activities related to data integration, system upgrades, and vendor data feed setups/changes.Develops and executes training scenarios.Manages department specific vendor contracts and serves as liaison for resolving vendor related problems.Monitors overall operational effectiveness; serves as content expert.Leads HR Operations process improvement, cross-functional initiatives.Develops and maintains metrics reporting tools.Minimum Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of HR operations experience with exposure to multiple HR Operations disciplines and expertise in at least one discipline; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
BA/BS degree strongly preferred. Demonstrated math skills with the ability to perform manual/technical pension benefit calculations.Proven experience performing and/or auditing transactions with accuracy and minimal errors.Strong writing skills with experience writing documentation, procedures, or participant/employee communications.Proven ability working directly with clients or vendors.Processes non-standard pension benefit calculations (death, late retirement, manual research, QDROs).Handle benefit plan administration and manages special projects (compliance, regulatory and government activities).Coordinates the testing of the system for regulatory updates according to the plan provisions and administrative requirements.Job Level:
