Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the Pediatric SANE RN, you will be charged with expanding outreach and increasing awareness of forensic healthcare. You will strengthen or increase access to quality medical forensic healthcare to child victims of sexual violence. You will report to the Behavioral Health Program Manager.

Primary Tasks:
1. Promote community-based education and training to adults, youth, and children related to forensic healthcare, child abuse, human trafficking, and prevention strategies.
2. Educate and train Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma based service providers on forensic healthcare, child abuse, human trafficking, and prevention strategies.
3. Use best practices from Choctaw Nation Health Services Authority to screen and provide direct patient care to child victims of sexual assault.
4. Register and complete pediatric and adult sexual assault nurse examiner certification.
5. Update policies and procedures surrounding child sexual assault, sexual exploitation of minors, and human trafficking.
6. Provide expert testimony in court proceedings if subpoena.
7. Attend and complete any relevant trainings.
8. Attend Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) and the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Multidisciplinary Team meetings.
9. You will perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
· Current RN licensure with the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing (or Multi-State Nursing License)
· Current CPR certification required
· Two (2) years of RN experience
