Rush University Medical Center(RUMC) is currently accepting candidates for a full-time (1.0 FTE) clinical faculty position as a Clinical/Pediatric Psychologist. Anticipated academic rank will be at the Assistant Professor level, or a higher rank commensurate with experience.
The Division of Pediatric Psychology provides a wide range of therapeutic, assessment, and consultation services across inpatient and outpatient settings. Our division also supports an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship program. Anticipated clinical responsibilities for this position will include:
-Conduct developmental evaluations with young (4-20 months) patients through RUMC’s NICU follow-up clinic
-Provide consultation-liaison services to the General Pediatrics unit, PICU, and NICU
-Conduct developmental/psychological testing for patients with a variety of genetic and medical conditions who are enrolled in clinical trials through the RUSH F.A.S.T. Center for Translational Research
-Provide clinical supervision of predoctoral psychology residents
Additional opportunities for clinical work with other populations, as well as opportunities for program development, quality improvement initiatives, and research, are also available.
Qualified candidates must have a doctoral degree (PhD; PsyD) in clinical psychology with an APA-approved internship, completed a fellowship in clinical child psychology or pediatric psychology, and be licensed or license eligible in the state of Illinois. Candidates with experience conducting developmental and autism evaluations using the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development and Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule are strongly encouraged to apply. Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. Additional compensation may include sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
**Pay Range:** $114,000 – 147,000
